Notice to Members of the Friends in Need Food Bank Society Annual General Meeting Wednesday September 26th, 2018

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Friends in Need Food Bank this letter serves as written notice that the Friends in Need Food Bank Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday September 26th, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Friends in Need Food Bank offices located at #8, 22726 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge. Registration begins at 6:30 pm.

In accordance with the Society’s Bylaws current members must pay their 2018/2019 annual dues of $10.00 before the commencement of the 2018 AGM if they wish to maintain membership and participate in the 2018 AGM. New members must submit their applications for membership with the $10.00 membership fee prior to the August 27th deadline for approval at the August 29th, 2018 Board Meeting. Applications are available through the office by calling (604) 466-3663.

The nominating committee will be receiving nominations for Directors until the deadline August 27th, 2018. Please note that under our Bylaws, voting by proxy is not permitted.

A board endorsed list of nominees for director vacancies will be published on the Society’s website, www.friendsneedfood.com fifteen days prior to the AGM. The agenda for the September 26th, 2018 Annual General Meeting will be available at the Friends in Need Food Bank offices during regular business hours two weeks prior to the meeting.
