Notice to Members of the Friends in Need Food Bank Society
Annual General Meeting Wednesday October 30, 2019
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Friends in Need Food Bank this letter serves as written notice that the Friends in Need Food Bank Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Friends in Need Food Bank offices located at #8, 22726 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge. Registration begins at 6:30 pm.
In accordance with the Society’s Bylaws current members must pay their 2019/2020 annual dues of $10.00 before the commencement of the 2019 AGM if they wish to maintain membership and participate in the 2019 AGM. New members must have submitted their applications for membership with the $10.00 membership fee prior to the September 1, 2019 deadline and been approved for membership in order to be eligible to vote at the AGM. Please note, new memberships approved after the September 1, 2019 deadline will not be eligible to vote at this upcoming meeting. Please note that under our Bylaws, voting by proxy is not permitted.
A board endorsed list of those individuals nominated for director vacancies will be published on the Society’s website, www.friendsneedfood.com fifteen days prior to the AGM. The agenda for the October 30th, 2019 Annual General Meeting will be available at the Friends in Need Food Bank offices during regular business hours two weeks prior to the meeting.
