Notice to Members of the Friends in Need Food Bank Society
Annual General Meeting September 17th, 2014
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Friends In Need Food Bank this letter serves as written notice that the Friends In Need Food Bank Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday September 17th, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Friends in Need Food Bank offices located at #8, 22726 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge. Light refreshments will be served. Registration begins at 6:30 pm.
In accordance with the Society’s Bylaws current members must pay their 2014/2015 annual dues of $10.00 before the commencement of the 2014 AGM if they wish to maintain membership and participate in the 2014 AGM. New members must submit their applications with $10.00 membership fee prior to August 19th for approval at the August 21st, 2014 Board Meeting.
The nominating committee will be receiving nominations for Directors until September 1st, 2014. Please note that under our Bylaws, voting by proxy is not permitted.
A board endorsed list of nominees for director vacancies will be published on the Society’s website, www.friendsneedfood.com fifteen days prior to the AGM. The agenda for the September 17th, 2014 Annual General Meeting will be available at the Friends In Need Food Bank offices during regular business hours one week prior to the meeting.

Annual Membership in the Society is $10.00. Memberships are available from current board members or the Executive Director. To participate in the AGM, lapsed members must renew and be members in good standing by September 17th before the meeting is called to order.
