Lunch Money Day 2009
This year, the Friends In Need Food Bank is proud to present the second annual Lunch Money Day. We all know that food bank numbers are increasing daily, so this is your chance to make a difference. On July 24th, 2009, brown bag it to work and donate your lunch money to the food bank. Every dollar raised assists individuals, families and seniors who rely on our service.
It's simple and fun, and anyone can participate!
When: July 24th, 2009
Why? To raise desperately needed funds to support the purchasing of milk, meat, eggs and fresh veggies and fruits. $2.00 donated turns into $4.00!
How? Eveyone in our community has the opportunity to participate in Lunch Money Day. It's easy and fun! Elect one team leader to register and pick up the supplies...and then brown bag it on July 24th, giving your lunch money to your team leader.
Make this event FUN! Encourage your staff, co-workers, everyone you know to participate! We can then raise more money to support our clients. More than 40% of our client numbers are children under 12.
